Hi, I'm Melissa


I help people go beyond the gym to pursue lasting health by addressing the mindset, habits, and lifestyle pieces that traditional fitness often misses. My work is for people who are disciplined, consistent, and trying hard, yet feel like something is still missing.

My Turning Point

After having my thyroid removed, I gained over 40 pounds despite doing all the right things. As a personal trainer, I believed discipline alone would fix it, but true healing required something deeper. I had to address my stress, mindset, and relationship with myself.

I kept pushing until I realized I was breaking myself in the name of health. That was the moment everything shifted.

What I Learned

We have all heard that you can’t out train a bad diet. What I also learned is that you can’t out diet chronic stress. Undereating, overtraining, and constantly doing more eventually work against your body, no matter how disciplined you are.

The more I focused on my body image, the more negative I became. When I shifted to appreciating what my body could do, embracing community, and seeing the good in my life, true wellness followed. That shift changed not just my health, but how I live.

How I Coach Today

Now, as a Health Coach and Personal Trainer, I help people pursue vitality, nourishment, and longevity by looking at the full picture. This includes mindset, nutrition habits, movement, stress, and the way health fits into real life.

My coaching is supportive and honest. I ask thoughtful questions, offer clear perspective, and challenge clients to move beyond comfort when needed so change actually lasts.


Why This Matters

Health is not about chasing a certain look. It is about being well enough to live fully, to move with strength, and to show up for the people and purposes you are called to. When health is aligned, life opens up.

Melissa holds a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Education, and combines this with her fitness and health coaching certifications to provide a holistic, evidence-based approach to wellness.
